BIOGRAPHY
April's excitement and passion for the outdoors started while growing up on her grandmother's land in Olive, OK. She spent her time digging up worms, fishing in the pond, and following animal tracks wherever they lead her. Naturally, bushcraft and survival became important skills to learn as she grew older. After becoming a mother of two wonderful kids, mastering these skills and raising her children to work and live with nature became a priority. April started her formal survival training in 2020 and eventually discovered the Texas Survival School where she reached instructor level in 2024. She will never be finished learning since there are too many skills that she aims to master than time will allow her. April brings an excitement to the learning process that you have to witness to fully appreciate and she is excited to teach the skills she has mastered to her family, friends, and students that share her passions.
April is moving to Southern Missouri in 2024 along with her husband and 2 children with the dreams of starting a homestead with a big garden, livestock, and too many things to do. She spends her free time tying knots, hanging hammocks, starting campfires, bushcrafting, and trying to find any excuse to sleep under the stars.
